Emily Sheskin - Director

Emily Sheskin is a director and editor who has worked on award-winning documentaries, TV specials and advertising campaigns. Her work has been featured in numerous publications such as (but not limited to) The New York Times, National Geographic, and The Atlantic.

She holds a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and is a member of New York Women in Film & Television, and IFP.

Ben Kainz - Producer

Ben Kainz is a producer based in New York City. He's produced several short films, directed by Emily Sheskin, which have been featured as a New York Times Op-Doc and screened at festivals like the Hamptons International Film Festival, DOC NYC, and IFF Boston. Currently, Ben is producing a feature-length documentary about Jesselyn Silva, a young boxing phenom who has dreams of becoming an Olympic Boxer.

Katie Turinski - editor

Katie Turinski is an award-winning filmmaker based in New York City. For nearly 20 years her work has spanned multiple industries, with credits including the Oscars® Shortlisted Netflix Original THE SPEED CUBERS (Editor), Saturday Night Live Seasons 47-48 (Editor), multiple Super Bowl commercial campaigns (Editor), and the forthcoming documentary feature JESSZILLA (Editor).

Katie is represented for commercial editorial by EXILE (Partner + Editor), where her clients include Facebook, Google, Nike, Coca-Cola, Ford, Sony, Samsung, Delta and Toyota. Her other documentary credits include the features SISSYBOY (Director/Editor) and RAW FAITH (Editor), as well as shorts SOCK GUYS (Director/Editor) and FALL RIVER (Editor).

Katie lives in New York City with her husband and their beloved dog, Barnaby.

 
 

paul yee - cinematographer

Paul Yee is a cinematographer based in New York City. In 2015, he lensed The Fits (Venice 2015, Sundance 2016), Anna Holmer’s acclaimed debut feature, that the New York Times described as “a dreamy, beautifully syncopated coming-of-age tale.” Colewell, directed by Tom Quinn, premiered at the San Francisco International Film Festival in 2019 and went on to receive two Independent Spirit Award Nominations. He recently completed production on Tina Satter’s Reality and Adele Lim’s untitled feature debut.

His penchant for vérité camerawork and natural light has led him to collaborate on many documentaries- including Season 2 of Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas (HBO), Cameron Yates' Chef Flynn (Sundance, Berlin 2018) and Emily Sheskin's Jesszilla, an ongoing project about boxing phenom Jesselyn Silva. 

KYLE DeiTZ - additional cinematography

Kyle Deitz cinematographer from Baltimore, MD living in Brooklyn, NY. He is currently represented by Ajay Ghosh at Zero Gravity Management. In his commercial career, he has shot for clients such as Google, Disney, Amazon, Under Armour, Virgin Hotels, Nike, Apple, among many other prominent brands. His narrative and documentary work has gotten him into prestigious film festivals such as Sundance, TiFF, TriBeCa, and more. Because of this diverse background of filmmaking Kyle often likes to marry the naturalism of documentary into his narrative filmmaking. 

pietro milanesi - composer

Pietro Milanesi is an Italian composer based in Los Angeles. His music can be heard on the 2018 Oscar winning documentary Icarus, Bryan Fogel’s follow-up The Dissident, Netflix’s Fantastic Fungi, FOX docuseries Phenoms, and the trailer of Questlove’s Summer Of Soul. Recent projects include music for the 2022 Olympic Games, Audible’s American

Football, and Nat Geo’s Wicked Tuna and Running Wild. His score for the short film Glass Darkly recently won Best Music Award at IndieX Film Festival. Very active in advertisement, he has scored campaigns for Uniqlo, Coca-Cola, Grey Goose, Nissan, Dell, and Lexus.  

Outside of film scoring, Pietro has worked with artists such as Celine Dion, Moby, Lady A, and Gayle. Together with his wife Flannery, they release music under the pseudonym Alice Bloom.
